Steven Losco is an independent researcher based in Northern California.
He is currently looking for an opportunity in some form of research, whether it is academic in nature or retail market research.
Steven’s experiences in retail in apparel and general merchandise give him insight into customers’ experiences of shopping at physical stores and the flux of merchandise.
He has a Master’s of Science in Science, Technology, and Society from Drexel University where he focused on gay and bisexual men’s use of smartphone hookup apps in relation to HIV stigma and risk.
Steven also has his Bachelor’s of Arts in The Sociology and Anthropology of Religion where he conducted research on American Evangelical worship practices. His thesis analysed how a church service shifted classification over time, utilizing social metadata.
Steven has spoken on his research in New York, Philadelphia, and Berkeley, CA among national and international audiences.
