Steven Losco is an experienced educator looking for work in the Greater New York Area.
His main subject of teaching is social studies, with an emphasis on Civics and anthropological/sociological approaches to history. He stresses the necessity of critical thinking, writing, and reading in today’s global job market.
Steven worked for Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth at the Princeton University field site, assisting with the course Science, Technology, and Public Policy this summer. The high school students were academically advanced rising high school juniors and seniors, along with rising college freshmen.
He holds a Master’s of Science in Science, Technology, and Society from Drexel University and a Bachelor’s of Arts in the Sociology and Anthropology of Religion from Pitzer College.
Steven has spoken on his research in New York, Philadelphia, and Berkeley, CA among national and international audiences.
